Yes, I Still Have A Camera.

In case anyone's been wondering about the recent dearth of photoblogging, I've been doing a lot of volunteer data entry for some of the local progressive organizations on my nights and weekends, so I haven't had a lot of time for photographical oot-and-abootness. Hopefully the situation will improve after the election.

I have managed to take a few pictures, plus I have some more stashed away on my wee backup camera which look like they might not suck too awfully.

This guy again.

Backlit flower back.

And another.

I have trouble with that too, actually. Certain subjects seem to play hell with autofocus for some reason, and I don't really trust myself to focus manually anymore...

Plus it was kinda windy, and they were jiggling around.

Well, they were up until recently.

Apparently Jesus is angry and is summoning the clouds?

Actually just a saint, but he does look awfully dramatic when it's cloudy.

i've never liked autofocus. truth is my eyes are going, (i'm work'n on 50). i'm actually amazed how well it works. when you get that close depth of feild and light become real issues.

i've spent the last three days trying to get a picture of a very pretty weed. set up a whole elaborate wind break, which was only marginally effective, until it blew over and crushed the weed.

i have it on good authority, jesus is majorly pissed. ok, i just made the up, but i'm sure he's pissed.
