That was a good essay from back in 2005. You could repost it now and the gist of it would be current, except that we now have more proof of electronic votes being screwed up or stolen, and more voters being denied their right to vote.
Does this mean someone google bombed you?

Agreed. I think they're losing more than they're gaining by playing it "safe". They're playing right into the Republicans' stereotype of them, in fact.
