Wide-Angle Photoblogging

This past weekend I gave my new 10-20mm wide-angle zoom lens its first real workout, and it didn't do too bad. It took me a while to get back into the swing of it, because what I see with my eye is so much different from what I see through the viewfinder, but eventually it started to click.

Mmm... Pipes...

Bus shelter.

Jeep headlights.

My stairwell.

Nice.. liked the stairwell. BTW what's the story with the NY non-Eschaton meet in October? Did the Chicago meet collapse?

Thanks!

Yep, that's what I've heard - it's officially dead for now, and certainly for Labor Day.

What -- they don't have elevaators in Pittsburgh?

Love the pipe shot. The colors are great.

Is there a party in October nobody invited me to? *pout*

Elevators are for weaklings and Frenchmen.

My building at work has an elevator, but I usually just climb up an exterior wall and through a window, unless the weather's really bad.

I'm sure NYC Atriots would love to have you, if you can make it. If you plan to be in NYC for Columbus Day weekend, drop res a line.

The green on those pipes shows up well in the photo. I really like it.

Thanks, OWL (and flory)!

I don't know if it was the lighting, or if the wide-angle lens doesn't pick up color as well, but I think I may have, um, overcompensated.
