Hairline: Impressively intact
Coloring: Distinguished

You should start one of those "Post Your Own Photo" web sites--"Am I Hair or Not?". (Obviously I would rather look at such a site than do the grading I am supposed to be doing.)

Okay, now do the back of the head!

Are those highlights, Eli?

You really should visit the blogosphere more often - you would fit right in. You and Thersites could be long-lost brothers.

Why, yes... yes, they are.

Highlights, exactly.

Hair I am
The one with the buzz
Askin' for another way
Of posting photos to my blog so it doesn't take forever and I have to edit two posts together and delete one of them if I want to include two pictures in one post...

Okay, I think the meter got away from me a little on that one.

Makes me want to run my hand back and forth across yer scalp, saying "ooh, it's like seal fur!"

Which would be politically incorrect, I know.

Eli said...

No, that would be perfectly all right, just so long as you didn't attempt to club me over the head and skin me.

It would be inaccurate, however. My seal-fur days are long gone - I have to look semi-respectable, so I can't get buzzed on the shortest setting anymore. (I'm sure there's a joke in there *somewhere*...)

Clearly, a Henna/Barbarian.

Hey, BooBoo!

Oh man, that was so bad I can bearly stand it. Reading blogs you comment on is no picnic. Any more of your humor and I'll be a basket case.

nice hair, let it grow, take pictures, everyone knows that all photographers over 40 are bald.

there is a reason bruce weber wears that bandana all the time.

of course that might only apply to retro photographers, hmm...

hey, you listed my blog, thanx for doing that.

i still have great trepidations about posting pics. maybe need to investigate digimarc.

actually been investigating digital all day, so far doesn't really seem cheaper than film.

and fujifilm finepixS2, and now S3, get great reviews for image quality, but thumbs down on every other score. very confusing.

No problem, charley. I've been following your digital SLR advice, re: not dropping it. I made sure I mastered that part of the manual before I tried to shoot anything.

Hmm, maybe I should provide regular hairline updates every 2-3 weeks or so...

Hey, that picture was rather odd. Did you know you have a black hole where your face should be. As the picture opened and showed up on my computer, it reminded me about one of the old Star Trek shows (the original ones with Kirk & Spock) of the salt monster. Why is that?

The Man Trap? I believe that was the first ST episode ever to air, actually. Umm, not sure why that pic would remind you of it, but it's been a long time since I saw that episode...
